Product Details:
Signed, unmounted Giclee print from an original watercolour by Debbie Flack. Limited edition of 850. The artist researches and reconstructs historic images from archive material; old images and maps. This image shows Hallsands village from the aspect of the current day viewing platform looking Southwards towards Start Point, before the village began to be undermined by the sea following Sir John Jackson's offshore dredging of the shingle banks for the building of Devonport docks. Each image comes with accompanying text explaining some of the history and some details of how the artist has put the image together. The large size is the size of the original painting.
